PROGRAM

DAY 1

Departure (with a flight change).

DAY 2

Welcome to Kilimanjaro! We arrive at our lodge located on the slopes of Meru, with a great pool surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden. We eat dinner at the lodge.

DAY 3

Once we’ve eaten breakfast we head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. We go for a photo 4×4 game drive to the crater that is described as one of the most known world natural wonders. It is one of the world biggest virgin volcanic calderas and constitutes a natural asylum for many African animals, e.g. black rhinoceros, an extremely rare species to witness in nature. We can expect to meet lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinoceros, antelopes, various birds and other animals. We have our lunch there. Dinner and accommodation for the night at the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

DAY 4

After breakfast we head to Serengeti National Park. On our way we can pay a visit to a Maasai village (paid extra). We eat our picnic lunch at Serengeti and then enjoy another game drive and move toward the North part of Serengeti. Dinner and accommodation for the night at Mapito Tended Camp at Ikoma.

DAY 5

In the early morning we set off to see predators coming back from their night prowls and other animals taking a stroll at the sunrise. The whole day we spend on a game drive around Serengeti admiring endless savannas and incredible number of animals (depending on a season). We eat our picnic lunch during the day. Dinner and accommodation for the night at Mapito Tended Camp at Ikoma.

DAY 6

After breakfast we go to the Seronera airport in Serengeti and fly to Zanzibar. If the weather is good we admire the breath taking views of Serengeti Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We eat dinner and spend the night at a beach hotel.

DAY 7

It’s a relaxing day at a hotel located next to a beautiful Zanzibar beach.

DAY 8

After breakfast we go to see dolphins in Kizimkazi, a fishermen village in the South part of the island.

DAY 9

Today we enjoy sun, palm trees and sky-blue water at a white sandy beach.

DAY 10

Once we’ve eaten breakfast we visit Stone Town. On our way we stop by at a spice farm. In the afternoon we sightsee the historic part of Stone Town – most famous Zanzibar buildings: House of Wonders, Palace Museum, Arab Fort as well as characteristic ornamented doors, vibrant market, winding streets, two cathedrals and countless mosques. We stay in Stone Town overnight.

DAY 11

After late breakfast we transfer to the airport and leave Zanzibar.

DAY 12

We arrive back home.
